College Sweethearts

January of 2015, our lives became intertwined. Our first year at Hawaii Pacific University and we had met almost instantly. Within 1 week, Michael had received a text at 4 a.m. (why the hell was he awake?!?) asking for help getting to the hospital, where Terena was diagnosed with bronchitis. Within two more weeks, and after probably a hundred hours of sitting, talking, laughing and getting to know one another, we finally admitted that we liked each other. Several years pass filled with hikes, waterfalls, beaches, travelling, and lots of FOOD, and our love for each other continued to grow. After 6 years, while preparing to pack up our lives and move away from Hawaii, Michael finally proposed on the same beach that marked our first date. We woke up early and left with Patrick and Bella to Makapu'u Beach, stopping only for coffee/hot chocolate to wake us up. As the sun rose, Michael finally got down on one knee and asked if we could spend the rest of our lives together.
