Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?
No! We wanted to have the perfect spaces for our ceremony and our reception! We will be having the ceremony at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church located in Hoover. The cocktail hour and reception are located at Park Crest Event Facility about 25 minutes away! With the ceremony beginning at 2:00 pm, there will be approximately an hour gap from the end of the ceremony to the start of the cocktail hour at 4:00 pm.
What is the dress code?
We are requesting a formal dress code for our wedding. A formal dress code is more flexible than black-tie. Men can wear tuxedos or formal dark suits. Women can wear anything from evening gowns to dressy cocktail attire (please note, the bridesmaids will be wearing all black).
Is there a hotel block?
With so many places to explore in Birmingham, we decided not to partake in a hotel block! For our best recommendations, check out the "Where to Stay" tab! Along with the hotels listed, there are many more hotel and AirBnb options too!
Is there parking at the reception venue?
Yes! There are 3 parking lots.
Can I bring a plus one?
If your wedding invitation is addressed to you "and Guest" you are allowed to bring one!
Can I bring my children?
Wedding invitations will be specific to who is invited. If your invitation is addressed as "The {Blank} Family", then yes your children are welcome to come.
