The Day After...

On Friday, August 1st, we would love for those of you that can to join us at the Princeton Hot Springs for a couple of hours to "soak" it all in together. Our hope is to rent out a private pool for about 25 of us (depending on who stays and wants to join, this obviously can increase)! Now, this will come to about $20-$30 (at the most) per person, so please feel free to text us to let us know if you can join! We'll cover the upfront costs, and have everyone Venmo us later once we get the headcount finalized.

After that, we were thinking that we could get cleaned up and go grab a casual happy hour somewhere - location TBD (might just go with the flow!). There are tons of great places near Mainstreet, and the Lariat will often have life music.

During Your Visit...

While BV is small, it is mighty!

The Surf is very close to so many places in the town, including the main strip, which has incredible coffee shops, breakfast joints, sandwich shops, boutique shops (clothes, knick-knacks, other goodies), and even art shops. One of our favorite places for breakfast is Wesley & Rose - this is truly where our love for the Surf developed (they only do brunch on Sundays, but they do have dinner every day beginning at 4:00 PM). They have incredible food, craft cocktails, wellness beverages, and really cozy, but beautiful vibes.

We also frequent Eddyline Brewing - they have fantastic beers, and a really great menu for dinner as well if you are looking for elevated, but classic American fare. Think anything from wings, burgers, and pasta, to Chilean sea bass, steaks, and ribs - there's pretty much an option for everyone.

If you want to get outdoors, there is tons of hiking in the area. The Midland & North Boyfriend Loop is just about 3 miles, and super close to the hotel if you are looking for a morning hike nearby before some of the shenanigans.

St. Elmo Ghost Town is also very fun to go see (this is where we did our first camping trip together!). It's probably about 20 min from The Surf, but a super beautiful drive.

Finally, at some point in the weekend (Adam and I are staying through the weekend - for those that are also interested in staying), we'd love to go to Clear Creek Reservoir. We took December here during our first camping trip, and it is now our tradition to go by, bring our camping chairs and beers, and pour one out for our baby. TBD when we will go, but it will be BEAUTIFUL in July, and we'd love to make a day of it - bring the paddle boards, have a couple of beers, and enjoy the summer sunlight in memory of our heavenly guy, Cember.
