Teresa and Patrick's Wedding

Our Story

Mariah is Teresa's younger sister. Though they are seven years apart, they have grown closer as they each get older. Mariah is also getting married in June of 2025! And don't let Mariah fool you, Teresa is still about a half inch taller!

Dylan met Patrick in an afterschool program around 1999 through mutual friends and a love of Lego, Star Wars, and schoolyard sports. They have remained close friends since then, and Patrick spent so much of his time at Dylan's house during childhood that Dylan's mother began asking how to claim Patrick as her dependent for tax purposes!

Stormy is Teresa's cousin and hit it off when Stormy joined the family over 8 years ago. Though they have both lived in separate states, they still manage to get together often and enjoy cooking together and talking food/recipes while going antiquing. Stormy's youngest son, Cayden, is Teresa's godson.

Teresa and Kate have been friends since college at Creighton, where they met in a service fraternity and were in the same "family."  They are also birthday twins! (almost) Only two days apart, many birthday celebrations have been shared together. Their 30th birthday party was Disney themed! 

Kate Heinrich

Sarah was Teresa's college roommate at Creighton. They were the perfect rooming pair - Teresa loved to wash the dishes and Sarah loved to dry them. That time solidified their friendship and has been strong even from afar.

Sarah Noles Muth

Ellie was one of the first people Teresa met her first week of college at Creighton. They immediately made a connection and were roommates for a short time before Ellie transferred to a different school. The distance has never deterred them from getting coffee and catching up like no time has passed. Ellie's wedding was the first one Teresa was ever in, and is thrilled that Ellie can also stand next to her on her wedding day.

Emily and Teresa are Creighton friends and have always managed to find each other across the country. Last year Teresa and Emily drove from St. Louis to Albuquerque (but Teresa decided about two weeks prior that she wanted to join!) Both are always up for adventures and will often do them together. 

Emily Butz Austerberry

Anna is Patrick's sister, born 19 months after Patrick. The two know how to push each other's buttons, and coincidentally they grew closer to each other after they no longer had to live under the same roof. But, Patrick and Teresa are thrilled to have Anna by their side on their big day! 

Anna Ryan

Patrick met Nick through mutual friends (Dylan and Ryan) around 2005. Like Dylan and Ryan, Nick attended middle school and high school with Patrick and have remained close friends, this next year marking their 20 year friendship. 

Nick Stepanek

Blake and Patrick were freshman roommates in college at Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2011. Though roommate assignments were random, they embraced their fates and have remained friends since. They joined a fraternity on campus with their new friend Derek. The trio lived together after college for about 3 years and have still remained close friends. 

Blake Stephens

Patrick met Derek in 2011 during freshman year of college at Nebraska Wesleyan University when they joined the same fraternity together: Theta Chi. With Blake, the trio share a love of video gaming, dungeons and dragons, and making pizza. Patrick was also a groomsman in Derek's wedding in 2019. 

Derek Vallis

Trevor and Patrick met around high school age through mutual friends and have a strong mutual interest in cycling. In summer of 2023, Trevor and Patrick crossed the state of Iowa during its annual RAGBRAI event biking 500 miles.

Dustin is Teresa's younger brother. Though they are just over a year apart, when they were growing up many thought they were twins! Dustin and his wife Sarah had an adorable baby girl this past year and Teresa loves being an aunty to her.

Vincent is Teresa's youngest brother, but he is number 3 out of 4 in the family. Vincent and Teresa would always be the two to "pair up" when going on family outings and stick together. They have had some pretty mean cribbage tournaments.

Ryan and Patrick first met as infants in 1993; their mothers, Marcy and Diane, met through work. A few years later, they reunited when Ryan transferred to Patrick's elementary school. They ended up attending the remainder of elementary school through high school together. Then they reunited AGAIN to attend law school together at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Wedding Party

Though we would love to share our special day and celebrate with everyone, we are very sorry to say that due to space restraints at the venue we are only able to invite the children of our immediate family and the bridal party to the wedding ceremony and reception.We hope you understand and can still join us on our special day. If you would still like to bring your children, a brunch will be organized the morning after the wedding on October 18th where children are welcome and can spend time to visit with us. If you would like some help arranging a babysitter for the night of the wedding, please contact Teresa when you RSVP.

Q + A

You can begin booking rooms from now until 9/17/25. After 9/17/25 rooms and rates will be based on hotel availability. Reservations can be made the following ways: 1) Call reservations at (402) 445-9159 and request the Teresa Patrick Wedding group rate 2) Use the following direct booking link – Teresa Patrick Wedding – Holiday Inn Express Omaha 120th and Maple or 3) Use the group code TRP on the hotel’s website or the IHG app The shuttle will run for an hour starting at 4pm on Friday, 10/17. And then it will run again at the end of the night, at 11pm. Other times will be arranged during the night as well. Check in time begins at 3:00 pm, checkout is at 11:00am. The hotel cannot guarantee any early check in times, at the very most guests should call in the morning to see if it is at allpossible to check in before 3pm. But no check ins before 12:00 PM.

Area in Omaha that is near the venue - lots of restaurants and a great coffee shop (Roast). Also a really nice outdoor area. Inner rail food hall has lots of great food options.
