Teri & Charlie

Our Story

We have lived pretty much across the street for the past 18 years. June 7th 2021 Teri’s dad had a bad fall which paralyzed him and had to enter the nursing home for full care. Two months later Charlie’s mom was also needing full care and entered the same nursing home. One Saturday Teri came to get her dad to bring him home for a visit and ran into Charlie where he learned what happened to Teri’s dad. After that he made a new habit of visiting his mom then going down the hall to visit Teri’s dad. Often times Teri was there also which there they got to know each other more. Charlie took a liking to her but she wasn’t interested. Teri was very content with being single and just having a dog. Time was going on and needing help with some home projects is where the attraction grew. After working on barn doors for the bathroom together Charlie asked Teri if she wanted to go to a car show in Sunburg MN on Labor Day to which she said “YES”! They both hadn’t dated in years but both knew we needed to give each other a chance. Since that day we have seen each other every day! Pretty handy being neighbors and all.
