Six months into the pandemic, the odds of meeting someone seemed unlikely, if not impossible. But through the magic of a certain app, we connected, and had our first date on Zoom, where Terry was impressed by Joey's collection of race bibs and DIY watch band, while Joey was just plain smitten. One date later at Golden Gardens, we became our two-person pod.

The world just seemed to go on pause as we progressed in our relationship, and with so little else happening in our social lives, we quickly became each other's world in the most lovely way possible.

Since then, we've experienced all of Seattle together, gone on dozens of hikes, multiple backpacking excursions, toured Hawaii, Iceland, and Italy, embraced Chicago as our home away from home, and queued up a long list of adventures to keep us busy for decades to come.
