How We Met It was a match made in twenty first century heaven. A brief backstory. Tess was born and raised in Bend, Oregon. Luke was born in Kennewick, Washington, but quickly moved with his family and was raised in Salem, Oregon. In the last months of 2017 Tess was living in Salem, working her first nursing job at Salem Hospital. Luke was living in Bend, moving up the ranks at then Bend Research. During the holiday months of 2017, Tess frequented Bend often to visit family and friends. During one of these visits, Tess decided to hop on the latest rage dating app, bumble, and see what Bend had to offer. It didn’t take long for her to find a boy named Luke who had an affinity for camo and a swoon worthy pup. Quickly after swiping right they realized they had a staggering amount of friends in common. So much so, they would be denying fate (and bumble) if they didn’t go on a date. What was meant to be a quick drink turned into many hours, several baskets of fries, and the undeniable feeling that this was something special.
