What is the dress code?

Attire is cocktail/semi-formal: floor-length gowns, midi/knee-length cocktail dresses, dressy separates, pantsuits, suit & tie, tuxes welcome, slacks/dress pants and a jacket/blazer, or slacks/dress pants and a dress shirt. Feel free to wear any color. (Our wedding colors are navy blue and a variety of springy, floral hues—you cannot go wrong!)

Where is the wedding?

The entire wedding day will be held at The Transept in Cincinnati, Ohio. Address: 1205 Elm Street, Cincinnati, OH, 45202

When should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive at The Transept beginning at 5:00 PM, when the main large doors will open. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM. Do not be late! If you were to arrive earlier you are able to enter and wait in the downstairs bar area. The bar will not be open during this time. There is elevator access for those who prefer that over the steps.

Where do I park?

1. Washington Park Garage - 1228 Elm Street

(450 feet from venue underground parking with 450 spots available)


2. SP+ Parking - 1241 Elm Street

(400 feet from venue surface lot in between Memorial Hall & Music Hall)


3. Lot 32 - 1119 Elm Street

(250 feet from venue surface lot next to Cincinnati Shakespeare Theater)


4. CET Town Center Garage - 1251 Central Parkway

(900 feet from venue surface + structure lot with 1400 spaces)


Uber and Lyft is also available.

How do I RSVP?

Use the "RSVP" tab at the top of the page! Type in your name, and you will find yourself and any guests invited in your party. You will RSVP for yourself and those listed in your party.

When is the RSVP deadline?

The deadline to RSVP is April 16, 2025—about 4 weeks before our wedding date.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

Do you have a hotel block?

Yes! Check out the "Travel and Hotel" tab above for all information. We have a block at Kinley Hotel in downtown Cincinnati just a few blocks from our venue. Book your room at Kinley as soon as you have travel plans arranged or before April 16, 2025 for the discounted rate.

We also recommend other hotels and AirBnBs nearby, as there are plenty!

Is there transportation from the hotel to the venue?

Yes! If you are staying at Kinley, your transportation is covered. We have booked a limo bus shuttle that will take guests from the Kinley Hotel to The Transept and then back. Beginning after ~9pm, the bus will start returning to the hotel for those not intending to stay the entirety of the reception. There will be multiple pick-up and drop-off times. Stay tuned for more info once we have a total guest count utilizing our hotel block.

What is the best way to get around?

Uber and Lyft are always available. The Connector Streetcar is also always free and available with an app and website that can help you navigate downtown. https://www.visitcincy.com/plan-your-visit/transportation/streetcar/

Can I bring a date?

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event unless otherwise discussed with you. Those invited will appear under your name in the RSVP tab. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outside?

The entire wedding day will be indoors with air conditioning at The Transept.

Can I take pictures?

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras during the ceremony itself). The greatest gift you can give to us is to be fully present as we say "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like during the cocktail hour and reception!

Will there be a bar?

Yes! Beer, wine, cocktails/liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!
