Tess and Spencer met April 13, 2017, at the prestigious El Chollo restaurant in downtown LA, before a wild night at the Gamma Phi Spring 2017 Luau. They both attended the event with different dates, but quickly dropped their respective guests and gravitated to each other. Tess will say Spencer was smitten from the first moment. She will also say that his courting began and ensued for several months. While both are completely true, Spencer would say that Tess was playing hard to get. The game ended when his persistence prevailed, and they went on their first date at the Bigg Chill (legendary frozen yogurt place in LA) on June 20, 2017. The rest is history. They have been inseparable ever since, and their journey has been full of love, laughter, and dessert.

On June 30, 2022, Spencer took to the stage to propose to Tess at Verse in front of a restaurant full of strangers. It was straight out Tess’ favorite rom com books! The next chapter of their story begins on March 9, 2024, when they will be married – and they can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
