Between a barbershop and a townhouse in the West Village in New York City, is a set of stairs that lead down to a basement bar. She was a waitress and this was his favorite spot to meet friends after work. For the first several months, she knew him as the guy who hated onions and he knew her as the girl who worked the “$1 Beer Nights.” After seven months, he asked her his first question, “Can I take you out sometime?”

Flash forward five years and it’s her 28th birthday. On a typical New York summer day, friends and family were raising a glass to cheers to her. This is the moment where he turned to her and asked his second question, “Will you marry me?”

This brings us to the present, and they’re getting ready to ask each other a third question in April of 2022, and they can’t wait to celebrate their answer with you.
