Where will I stay?
There is a range of accommodations at the camp, from quaint cabins to open-air cabins, for everyone to stay comfortably! We will be assigning people to their cabins as RSVPs are sent to us. There are bath houses with toilets, sinks, showers, and outlets near the cabins to use and get ready in. Please know that Adirondack Camp is a fully functioning camp for kids of all ages throughout the summer, so get ready to have a real summer camp experience! If you are not interested in staying on site, we have a block of rooms at the Best Western Plus in Ticonderoga.
What should I bring with me?
Suggested Packing List:
-towel for swimming
-towel for showering
-shower shoes
-water shoes for the lake
-bathing suit
-sneakers or other shoes for hiking and playing sports
-pre-charged portable charger/power bank
-flashlight
-play clothes
What is there to do at the camp?
Activities the camp provides include kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing, swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, wiffle ball, tug of war, guided hikes, campfires, and relaxing. The camp staff are certified life guards and will supervise all water activities.
Is there parking?
Yes! You will drive your car all the way down the road to the entrance of Adirondack Camp. Once there, a camp staff member will meet you in the parking lot with a golf cart and bring you to the campsite.
Can I bring a guest?
Unfortunately, we can not accommodate additional guests. We can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your name} & Guest" if you are able to bring a date.
Can I bring my kid?
Due to limited accommodations, we hope you understand that children are only invited if they are named on the invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "The {Your Last Name} Family" if your children have been invited and "{Name & Name}" if only you and your partner have been invited.
What is the dress code?
For the rehearsal BBQ on Friday and the brunch on Sunday, you can dress casually. For the ceremony and reception please wear cocktail dresses and suits.
The rest of the weekend will be free for you to enjoy the activities and games provided by the camp. Please dress accordingly.
When should I RSVP by?
Please respond to the invitation, either by mail or on our website, by July 6th 2024. If you do not respond by 7/6/2024, you will be marked as "not attending."
What is Adirondack Camp's smoking policy?
If you choose to smoke, you may do so in the designated smoking areas or at any of the fire pits. Please do NOT smoke in or around any of the cabins as the roofs are highly flammable. We will provide sand buckets for cigarette butts, please do not put them in the fire pits.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you. Get ready to celebrate!
