The nearest airports are listed below for those who aren't driving. If you're trying to save some money, we recommend flying into New York or Boston and renting a car. The Peter Pan bus is the only bus that comes directly to Williamstown from New York City, running Thursday through Sunday. Accommodations

Williamstown and the surrounding area have a lot of beautiful and unique houses and we recommend looking into Air B&amp;B homes or VRBO, especially for groups. We have three hotels blocked: The Fairfield Inn (linked below), The 1896 House, and the Maple Terrace. (Please pay attention to end of hold deadlines and limited rooms) Here are our other recommendations below as well. There are a lot of towns surrounding Williamstown because it borders Vermont and New York. So please do not be discouraged if you like a place in the following neighboring towns: Pownal, VT, Bennington, VT, North Adams, MA, New Ashford, MA, Hancock, MA, Clarksburg, MA, Petersburg, NY, Stephentown, NY.(The closest are Pownal, North Adams, and New Ashford)

This is a budget-friendly motel that is between Williamstown and North Adams. It is much more affordable than some other options listed. The place is not the newest but has great reviews. We DO have these rooms blocked under the&nbsp;group&nbsp;"Tarses Dalton" for Sept 5th and 6th 2025: 4 rooms with 1 queen bed each @ $179/night per room6 rooms with 2 queen beds each @ $194/night per room A minimum 2-night stay is required. Rates are for double occupancy; each additional adult or child over 11 years costs an extra $15/night.Dog owners will be charged $30 per dog per stay. We'll keep these rooms on hold until June 30th, 2025.&nbsp;The wedding&nbsp;guests must mention "Tarses Dalton" for discounted rates when booking over the phone. For those looking to be closest to Williamstown itself, this is one of the nicer hotels in the area recently redone.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Williamstown

This hotel is one of the closest to the house and has a decent price point and the best rate we've found in Williamstown. If you like an older style, you get that with the 1896 house! They also have a restaurant, one of Jay's favorites. He recommends the French onion soup with double cheese!

The 1896 House Inn and Country Lodgings

This motel is the closest you can get to the house! It is right down the road and a middle-range price for the area. We've had family stay here and they enjoyed it. The place has older amenities and isn't luxurious but gets the job done!

Stay Berkshires Resort

This spot is one of the pricier spots in the area but if you love 1965 modern- design and love sculptures, this is the place for you! It has a ton of privacy surrounded by local farms and preserved land with great trails around it.

Things To Do

The Clark Museum is right in town and a quick 5-minute drive from the house! They have a large variety of contemporary and traditional artwork. We particularly love the permanent collection. The institute also has plenty of trails with some great views!

Clark Art Institute

Cricket Creek Farm is one of the few dairy farms left in the area and has some of the best cheese around! You can come and pet all the sweet cows and sometimes piglets. They have a little shop to buy cheese, milk, and other locally-made products. This is one of Tess' favorite spots!

Cricket Creek Farm

For contemporary art fans, this is the place to go! They have a mix of permanent and new collections that you are sure to get lost in. The museum is made of old textile mills that give some history to North Adams. There are great spots to eat here.

MASS MoCA

The Williamstown area is home to one of the longest tunnels East of the Rockies. The tunnel was built in 1877 and is over 4.5 miles long! This is Miller's favorite spot in Williamstown and he would love to talk to anybody about this at the wedding.

Hoosac Tunnel, East Portal

This is one of the few Shaker communities left in the country that is so well preserved. If you're interested in different types of communities, Shaker Village provides an in-depth understanding of a different way of life. This is an hour away.
