Tessa & Kevin

April 15–22, 2023

1. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding ceremony is semi-formal attire. The dress code for our Disney wedding reception is semi-formal attire. Ladies should wear long or short cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a button down or polo shirt with slacks (sport coats & ties optional). Neither Tessa or Kevin care that much what you wear to either event. As long as you don't show up looking...you know...sloppy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Both the ceremony and reception will include professional photos, and Tessa will be wearing her full wedding dress at both.

2. What will the weather be like this time of year?

New Jersey: April is a weird time for us. It can be rainy or sunny, 30s or 70s. If you're from out of town, try and look at the predicted weather before you pack. The ceremony is inside. If sunny, the pictures will be outside. Bring a jacket if you are nervous. However, by mid-april, we all should be fine in our long dresses and suits. Florida: April should be hot for FL. Tessa is used to checking the weather in Disney just for fun. By this time, you are looking at 70s and 80s during the day. You could bring a sweatshirt for the evening if 60s can feel chilly for you while walking around Epcot.

3. Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

CEREMONY & RECEPTION ARE NOT IN THE SAME PLACE OR ON THE SAME DAY!!! Ceremony: Mary Mother of God Parish in Hillsborough, NJ 08844. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1 PM. Reception: Todd English's Bluezoo Restaurant at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in the Walt Disney World Epcot Resort Area. Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11 AM.

4. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will both be held inside. However, we will be outside for pictures at both events, and for whoever wants to join, we will be outside when we walk around Epcot after the reception. You will be in Florida for the reception, so you may want to bring sunglasses and sunscreen.

5. What happens after the ceremony?

“After the ceremony, family and wedding parties will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Anyone is welcome to jump in for pictures at this time. Guests will be offered coffee and small snacks during this time to socialize outside the church while pictures are taking place. Guests are welcome to leave at their own pace after the ceremony. The reception will not be held until the following Saturday in Florida.

6. Does your wedding have a theme?

No, not particularly. However, "anything Disney" with a touch of "Rapunzel and Flynn Rider" are welcome informal themes for our wedding. :)

7. What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. Respectfully, if you cannot make it by the start of the mass, we ask that you don’t show up in the middle of the ceremony or the mini-reception that will follow. Thanks for understanding!

8. What should I do if I can’t make one of the events but I can make the other?

If you are able to make the ceremony in NJ, but not the reception in Florida, we completely understand. You will be missed, but we are just happy you can make the ceremony!! In general, we do not want people skipping out on the ceremony and only attending the reception in Disney. We would much rather have you there for the ceremony if we had to choose one. However, if you really cannot make the ceremony, but can make the reception, please reach out to Tessa or Kevin to let us know.

9. What time should I arrive?

Ceremony: Arrive at Mary Mother of God Parish in Hillsborough, NJ about 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. This means you should be arriving at the church around 12:30 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2023, so we can start on schedule. Reception: The reception will officially begin at 11 AM. You can arrive at the restaurant around 10:45 AM to get seated for the wedding party entrance. Tessa, Kevin, & Eva will be taking wedding pictures around the resort property between 10 and 11 AM. You can come check us out while you're walking over to the brunch in the morning. We suggest you fly to Florida and check into your room on Friday evening. However, if you are catching a Red-Eye flight, you'll probably have to rush from the airport to the brunch. (We don't mind if you are late for that reason though! We just appreciate all your efforts to join us for the celebration).

10. Where should guests park? Is parking free?

It can cost a pretty penny to park at the Swan & Dolphin Resort. Look at the fees before you decide to stay at the Swan and Dolphin if you choose. There is a parking fee overnight. If you Uber from an outside hotel, there is no parking or entrance fees. Below is information on parking that comes directly from Swan and Dolphin Resort. "PARKING FEES Valet Parking Rates: Day Use Valet: $42.00 inclusive of tax each exit Overnight Valet: $42.00 plus tax per day Self-Parking Rates: Day Parking: $32.00 inclusive of tax each exit Overnight Guest Parking: $32.00 plus tax per day"

11. Are kids welcome?

YES!! Bring your kids!! For the ceremony, we need other kids to be making a scene, so Eva isn't the only one ;) For the Reception, we are going to be in DISNEY!!!!! According to Walt Disney, Disney is for children and the children-at-heart. Please bring them to have fun and celebrate. We probably like a lot of your kids more than you anyways! (JK love you all).

12. Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

13. When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Deadline to RSVP: Saturday, February 18, 2023 You can use the QR code card that you found in your invitation envelope. Scan the QR code and follow the link to RSVP on our website.

14. Where are you registered?

We are registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Amazon. You can find out registry links on this website through the Registry tab above.

15. Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

No. Transportation will not be provided for the ceremony or reception. You must arrange your own transportation. There will be plenty of parking at the ceremony and reception. The parking at the ceremony is free, but at the reception, it is not free. If you are not staying at the Dolphin Resort for the reception, we suggest you Uber. It is easier than navigating the roads and a little cheaper than paying for parking (unless you are staying far from the resort).
