Getting Here
If you are joining us from out of town, we recommend you fly into LAX (Los Angeles International Airport). Downtown Los Angeles is approximately 25 minutes northeast of LAX by car. There are numerous taxi stands on the arrivals level at LAX, as well as Uber and Lyft pick-up zones at each terminal. We highly recommend these ridesharing options, as cabs can get pricey in LA (we're not in KS or NY anymore!).
Hilton Checkers Los Angeles
We have a block of rooms reserved at the Hilton Checkers, in the heart of downtown and just blocks away from the wedding venues. Click on the "Visit Website" link to connect to our private reservation page, where you will have access to exclusive rates for wedding guests! If you are planning to make reservations by phone, be sure to mention the Madden/Storms wedding block (Group Code: MSW517).

Getting Around
While the taxi system is good in LA and taxis should be available at any hotel, we also recommend you consider downloading the Uber app for your smartphone. Uber is a widely used form of transportation in LA, and the rates for UberX can be significantly lower than a taxi. Additionally, Downtown LA is totally walkable, so bring a comfy pair of shoes and hit the streets!
DTLA
For those of you travelling from out of town, we're excited for you to experience the Downtown LA (DTLA) life! We love our neighborhood and can't wait to have everyone we love here with us.
From fabulous dining, to fun nightlife, to great sports and entertainment at places like LA Live, Downtown is really an amazing place to be these days. We're looking forward to showing it off!
And should you want to take advantage of some California sun, we're only 10 miles away from the beach, so you can (and should!) have it all. We want you all to enjoy our wedding weekend to the fullest!
