Tessa and Russ’s love story began at Binghamton University in the ordinary rhythm of dorm life, where chance encounters and small moments often lead to something more. Tessa, a sophomore and Resident Assistant, lived in a middle room, managing the chaos of the floor, while Russ, a junior with a knack for mischief, resided just down the hall. Daily hellos soon evolved into something a bit more creative: Russ turned Tessa’s door into his own personal putt-putt hole, a playful act that marked the beginning of an enduring friendship. Although their first real conversation in 2016 in the Digman halls was more about business than bonding, things took a more personal turn during their first date in 2018 at the Hinman dining hall—so much so that Tessa ended up running late for a nursing class. There was an undeniable spark between them, something more than just casual conversation. It didn’t take long for both to realize they were on the cusp of something deeper than a typical college relationship. Whether they were spending hours talking about everything and nothing, or laughing until their sides ached, they both knew this connection was something special. Russ was from Rockland County, and Tessa from Suffolk County—living proof that love can survive through endless text messages and awkward phone calls. Fast forward a year and a half after Tessa’s graduation from Bing, and they had had enough of the late-night FaceTime conversations. A global lockdown had kept them apart long enough. The road trips across New York State, just to hug their favorite person, were starting to wear them down. They decided it was finally time to stop pretending they didn’t want to live in the same zip code. So, they took the plunge and started living together—because, really, who needs personal space? In 2021, they moved to Westchester County, and that’s when the real fun began. They adopted Bella, their first rescue dog, and just like that, they became a family of three. But the love didn’t stop there—two years later, Luna joined the crew. Now, with Bella and Luna by their side, their little family is complete (at least for now… who knows what’s next?). When they’re not busy spoiling their two beloved pups, Tessa and Russ love to embark on new adventures together. Whether it’s hiking through a scenic park, relaxing on a beach, enjoying live concerts, cheering on their favorite baseball teams, or indulging in a little friendly competition, they’re always ready to embrace the fun. On the golf course, long days tend to favor Birdie Bus Russ, while Tessa’s skills shine during an intense rally on the tennis court. As for pickleball... well, that’s anyone’s game—but no matter who wins, it’s always a great time. One thing Tessa and Russ can agree on is that Russ is the undisputed chef in the house. Tessa’s perfected the art of “supervising” (aka staying out of the way) while Russ handles the cooking. He’s the chef, and she’s more than happy to be his biggest fan and official taste tester. Honestly, they’d be in trouble without him in the kitchen—and especially would have been when Tessa was in graduate school to become a nurse practitioner while also working as a registered nurse. But thankfully she never had to worry about meals, as Russ always made sure to prepare healthy options before her long clinical or exam days. And now, Tessa can always count on Russ having the house smell delicious by the time she gets home from her long shifts working as a nurse practitioner with a pediatric neurosurgeon. Aside from his culinary skills, Russ has kept busy, also earning a Masters degree while working as a special education teacher and running his own mobile golf club regripping business. Recently, he also earned a promotion from Mr. Brown to Coach Bus for the JV Baseball team at New Rochelle High School. In the whirlwind of their increasingly hectic lives, Tessa and Russ are grateful to call each other their safe home. Looking back, they are both so thankful for everything that’s led them here. It all has only made them stronger, more connected, more excited, and ready for whatever comes next. No matter what life throws their way, they know they’ve got each other. Here’s to more adventures, more laughs, and, of course, more putt-putt holes in their future ❤️

Cuomo):- Take Exit 10 immediately after the bridge onto US&nbsp;9W North toward Nyack/South Nyack.- Continue on 9W North, then right onto NY‑59 East (Main Street) once in the village.- Stay on NY‑59 (Main Street) through downtown Nyack until you reach Burd Street.- Turn right onto Burd Street. The Seaport will be on your right at 21 Burd Street, near the Hudson waterfront. EASTBOUND: FROM I‑287 East, continuing on the New York State Thruway alongside I‑87, heading toward the Hudson River crossing (Tappan Zee or Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge) - Take Exit 10 onto US&nbsp;9W North toward Nyack.- Merge onto 9W North, then in just under a mile, turn right onto NY‑59 East (Main Street) heading into downtown Nyack .- Continue east on NY‑59 (Main Street) through several intersections, then turn right onto Burd Street one block past Broadway.- You’ll find The Nyack Seaport located on your right at 21 Burd Street, just off Main Street near the waterfront.
