It all started through registration for classes at Tarleton State University in 2018. Riley and Tesslie were in the same major. All of the future students were sectioned off with their majors - Tesslie walked in with her mom to her section and saw Riley, thought he was cute so naturally sat right behind him. Comes to no surprise the two did not talk the whole day despite being in the same small group the entire time. After, Tesslie met with her friends to give all the details and mentioned she saw a "really cute boy" and by the power of social media found Riley on Instagram, followed him, added her Snapchat information - because that was the primary form of communication - waited for Riley to add her, then took her Snapchat information off of Instagram. From there the two started talking, then hanging out - which considering there's not much to do in Stephenville meant a lot of talking. The two have become inseparable ever since and made it official on September 21, 2018. They both enjoy watching movies (and critiquing), traveling to sport games, and trying new food. Riley proposed to Tesslie at the top of a mountain in Pagosa Springs, CO on a family ski trip - complete surprise!
