Milos is known for its out-of-this-world beaches with turquoise waters and fishing villages. With over 70 beaches to choose from you can't go wrong! This is one of the reasons we love this island and we can't wait for you to explore it's gorgeous beaches!

Fyriplaka, Agia Kyriaki, Papafragas, Provatas, Firopotamos, Sarakiniko, Achivadolimni

Keep in mind that only some beaches have accommodations such as umbrella/sunbed rentals as well as cafes/restaurants.

We recommend buying your own umbrella and bringing it with you since rentals can often be pricey and some of the best beaches do not provide these accommodations. Do your research and make a list of your must visit beaches!

ADVICE FROM THE LOCALS ON CHOOSING A BEACH

Always select a beach opposite of the wind pattern that day. For example, if you have a Southward wind then it's best to visit a beach located on the northern part of the island. This will ensure that you don't experience wild waves or gusts of sand to the face.
