Tami and Billy's love story began with a heaven sent... swipe to the right. For years they unknowingly lived only one mile apart from each other, possibly passing ways many times. Although a digital romance doesn't sound very romantic, they believe Divine Intervention took place on that dating App. Apparently the timing was finally right for them to meet. They talked for a couple of weeks and then had their first date at Brimstone. Over a glass of wine and a delicious meal, they discovered a mutual love for God, family, and exercising. Dinner went by quickly, Billy, having an intuition that that Tami was end-game for him, wanted to continue the night so he suggested going somewhere for a couple more drinks. Immediately, Tami's red flags went up and her concerns about the questionable and seedy world of online dating brought fear to the forefront of her mind and she nervously bombarded him with questions, ', Why do you want to have more drinks, where do you want to go, what are you planning?' This made Billy smile, and made her even more endearing to him. Not wanting to scare her off with his thoughts of 'she's the one', he clarified that he was just enjoying her company and wanted to extend the night.Their next date... was at church. Their belief in Christianity was icing on the cake and helped erase Tami's initial concerns about meeting someone of 'poor character' online. Soon Tami felt it safe for Billy to meet her daughter Nicole, and Billy felt it safe for Tami to meet his dog ,Dolce. Fast forward a few months and they are all four living harmoniously in a beautiful home with enough bedrooms to start a small army of children. Only eight months after that predestined swipe, a trip to Puerto Rico was planned. Once there, Billy began telling Tami the story of how his grandparents met and fell in love at this exact spot many decades earlier. At that moment to her astonishment, Billy got down on one knee and popped the question, "Will you Marry me?" She said YES...How's that for a 'romantic' online dating story?
Dear family and friends,
We've been watching the Coronavirus situation closely and out of concern for the health of our loved ones, we've made the painful decision to cancel our wedding plans in Costa Rica. This is a potentially lethal situation for certain people we love very much. We still plan to exchange vows on July 11th at our home. However, due to the importance of implementing social distancing, it will be with our immediate family only. We will have a wedding celebration at a later date when it is safe to invite all of our friends and loved ones.
I know you're disappointed, as are we. I hope you understand that our top priority is protecting the health of everyone.
With Love,
Tami and Billy
