During Covid I got tired of online dating, but right before I deleted all the apps, my friend told me about “Hinge”. She said she found her soulmate on there. I got curious so I made a shitty profile with 1 photo and some basic info like: I like to eat and travel, with the intention of seeing who is on there. Within a week I liked 3 profiles and had 1 and only match: Tim. I almost passed on him because he wanted a “festival buddy”, and he said he liked my profile because my name stood out (very honest guy). We went to Golden Brewery in Anaheim, and I was surprised we talked nonstop from 7:30-closing. I wanted to continue with the date, so I thought, hmm maybe bcd tofu. Before I could suggest it, he asks, want to go to bcd after?

Our first big trip together, I bought an ATV package at the valley of fire state park. Not sure what I was thinking doing atv in 100 degree weather & humidity. We were the only ones on the tour (not surprising). Our outfits matched not on purpose.

7/4 (asked me to be his gf- picked this date bc he cant remember dates. We went to crystal cove to hang out w/ Shawn/linh (the first friends I introduced him to). He came to pick me up and we also matched- not planned.

Tim took me to Life is Beautiful in LV. My first festival and most memorable weekend with my friends and his friends. After that I was hooked, cant judge him anymore for wanting a “festival buddy”

Our first long road trip 12 hrs along the Cali coast up to NorCal to visit friends and family. We partied with my cousins and I was so hungover the next morning. He made sure I was well fed and hydrated then drove us down 6 hours back to SoCal just in time for my birthday party at 6pm, stayed until midnight until everyone left to clean up.

First yolo EDC event during covid, can't beat $200/ticket and our friends already had a room. The fireworks/drones were amazing. “All I need, is your love tonight”, whenever I hear that song, it always remind me of edc and good memories.
