To our guests who have traveled from afar just to attend this wedding, if you have the time for the rest of the weekend, you might as well make the most out of your stay here at Northern VA! Note that some of these places may require a bit of a drive, so make sure to check the directions before making plans!
A great place for rafting, kayaking, ziplining and so on! You might have to book your events ahead of time. If this is something that interests you, check out what they have to offer on their website and be mindful of the spring schedules!
If you're a fan of old-school country music, you can take a tour of Patsy Cline's home in Winchester, VA!
A museum with art galleries and a garden! Tickets can be purchased in their website
For some of our guests that will have their kids in town with them, this is a great interactive discovery museum for them!
These falls are approx. 1hr and 3 min drive from Stephenson, VA. It is a park with paved walkways so you do not have to worry about a strenuous hike to catch a glimpse of the scenic views. It is also a great place to have a picnic!
A great place to hike and fish (if you have a VA fishing license). Check out the website for more details on fishing habitats & regulations!
If you want to take a trip to the city, Washington D.C. is approximately an hour and a half drive from our wedding venue. You can take a day trip to explore different iconic areas, including the White House. We highly recommend taking the metro and parking in the suburbs outside of D.C. to avoid dealing with the hassle of city traffic.
