Friday July 15th-Private Boat Tour Athens Rivera (Bar Hopping) 

Explore the Athens Rivera from a different perspective, join us in a private boat tour along the Athens Rivera, starting in Palio Faliro and concluding with a sunset in Sounio. We will bar-hopp along the way and explore the hidden beaches of the Rivera! Day Trip to Hydra

Check out the island with no cars, just donkeys. Just 1.5 hours from Athens by boat, Hydra is great for a day trip or even overnight. It has the picturesque white house blue shutter architecture and has incredible Greek cuisine! Desert/Coffee  Locations in Athens

It is located in the heart of Psiri, which is known for its "rabetadika" (live music with appetizers). LUKUMAΔΕΣ/Loukoumades This is another one of our favorite spots, if you are looking for traditional loukoumades filled with Nutella, then this is the place to go! Located at Eolou 21, &amp; Aghias Irinis Str, Athina 105 51, Greece. Right nearby is "Platia Irini"- this is a beautiful square filled with coffee shops during the day and bars at night.

Walking in Athens

Right under the Parthenon, there is a beautiful cobblestone walkway on Dionysiou Areopagitou St. This is where the Acropolis museum and Odeon of Herodes Atticus are located. Crossing Dionysiou Areopagitou is Makrygianni street (Acropolis Metro Station), which leads you into Plaka and Monastriaki. Anafiotika, Plaka is a must-see, with its coffee shops and restaurants located on the steps of ancient Athens. Yiasemi is a coffee shop/dessert place located in the heart of Plaka!

Glyfada

Glyfada is just 7.5 miles south of the city center, located along the coast of the Athens Riveria. It is one of the most popular beach towns in Athens, filled with restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and bars/clubs. It is within a 10-15 minute drive to Agios Nektarios and Varkiza Resort Exclusive. Popular Restaurants: Tsi-Tsi, Barbounaki, Pacifai, To Elliniko and many more. Popular Coffee Shops/Bars/Clubs: Opus, Sea Spice, Pere-Ubu, Ark, Akanthus (5-minute drive from Glyfada).

Varkiza to Sounio - Popular Locations

There are beautiful beaches located along with the Athens Rivera, starting from Glyfada down to Sounio! Varkiza: Beaches: Yabanaki is one of the most popular beach locations among Athenians. It is an enclosed beach filled, with restaurants, beach bars, and coffee shops. Favorite beach bars in Yabanaki: Coyacan Playa (recommend calling to reserve beach chairs), and Holy Spirit. Restaurants in Yabannaki: Isalos and Απέραντο Γαλάζιο - ΝΑΟΒΒ (seafood) Coffee/Brunch/Clubs: Aside from the beach bars mentioned above, Island Athens Riveria is one of the most popular clubs/restaurants in all of Athens. It is located right off the coast of the Riveria with an oceanfront view. We recommend calling to reserve a table in advance. Rumors Cafe is located in a popular strip of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants along the coast. Vouliagmeni lake is right near Rumors Cafe. Cape Sounio: Aegeon Beach Hotel is a great location to enjoy a beautiful beach day on the Agean sea with a view of the Temple of Poseidon. We recommend taking a taxi to and from Sounio. Tickets cost 10 euros to view the Temple of Poseidon and other historical sites, the gates to the temple close around 7:00 pm. If you are interested in exploring the ancient city of Athens, we recommend you stay at the Intercontinental Atheneum! Located in the center of Athens, the Intercontinental is within 2-3 kilometers of Syntagma Square, Monastiraki, and the Acropolis. Please see below for additional information on the hotel block.   If you prefer to stay at a hotel near the beach and closer to the venue, we recommend you stay in Southern Athens (Glyfada, Varkiza, Voula). Hotel blocks were not available for Southern Athens, but we have hotel suggestions below.   Transfers from The Intercontinental Athenaeum to Agios Nektarios (the church) with a stop in Glyfada will be provided. Details are forthcoming.

The Divani Caravel Hotel is a 5-star hotel located on the Athenian Riveria. The average price for Divani on Booking is $400 a night, however, prices are subject to change. It has a beautiful boardwalk filled with some of the best restaurants in Athens! Some of the recommended restaurants include Garbi, Panorama, and Yalos. It is approximately a 5-10 minute car ride to Agios Nektarios and Varkiza Resort Exclusive. We do not have a room block at Divani, therefore we recommend booking our room quickly!
