I ended my best man speech at my brother's wedding with a quote from Evelyn Waugh's most famous book, Brideshead Revisited, and I thought it appropriate to begin a summary of our story the same way.

Our meeting's were numerous, but God knew the time wasn't right. I feel that oftentimes in our lives, especially dating as an adult, we may come across one which we do not "put back on the shelf" but whom we desire to read from beginning to end.
