Eric and Tess (Theresa) met at Work Horse Brewery in King of Prussia the night before New Years Eve--New Years Eve-Eve, if you will--in December 2021. They hit it off right away, and Eric asked Tess on a second date to see the light show at the Philadelphia Zoo shortly after.

By the end of their third date, hiking in Wissahickon Park followed by beers and a game of Cards Against Humanity at Wissahickon Brewery, Eric and Tess both knew there was a spark.

They were engaged on April 8th, 2023 at Hawk Falls (because Tess loves a water feature) in Jim Thorpe on their favorite hike to date.
