<p>Therese and Theodore (or just Teddy, as he is always called) met over spring break of 2020 right before Covid froze everybody in their shadows. Therese, who lives in Orlando, Florida, was visiting her brother and his soon-to-be fiance in Kansas City and attended Sunday Mass with him and his future in-laws. After Mass, Teddy, who lived in Bonner Springs, Kansas, introduced himself to her and the two discussed various things, from religion, school, and career choices to sports and movies. Later that day, after making cookies, playing football, and dancing in the kitchen, they exchanged contact information. Over the next few months, they grew closer to each other via many long Skype conversations. Teddy visited Orlando in May the week before graduating college, and thereafter was able to visit for a few days every 5 or 6 weeks after starting a job in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The rest is easy; after courting long distance for 11 months, Teddy landed a new job in Orlando and moved here in February, and the two were engaged on the peninsula at Ponce Inlet Lighthouse on February 21st!</p>
