Belle and I met in mid January of 2023 during our DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Kona, Hawaii with YWAM (Youth With a Mission).

Belle came to YWAM to strengthen her relationship with the Lord, and to see just exactly what the Lord was calling her to. Thomas came to YWAM to also grow in his relationship with the Lord, and learn more about who God really is. We were both brought into the same friend group during our school and became such great friends.

"I started to have feeling for Thomas first, and thought he was really cute. actually the first time I met Thomas at our schools welcome BBQ I knew that he was going to be in my life forever, I just didn't know to what decree." -Belle

"I on the other hand didn't have feelings for Belle in that same way just yet, I was working in a children's classroom for my work-duty with Belles closet's friend Grayson. Grayson began telling me about how Belle felt and this shocked me. I began to pray and ask God what to do and prayed that if this was in his will he would make it obvious for me! He sure did. I feel deeply in love with Belle in the span of 2 weeks!" -Thomas

3 months later we can back to Hawaii from Outreach, The first day back I asked Belle if she would be my girlfriend and she said yes! We then flew home for 2 months before we were reunited in mid summer.

We felt that the Lord was asking both of us to come back to YWAM and become full time missionaries. Leadership Track (Leadership Track is a 3 month school for people that want to staff at YWAM) started end of September and we were both very excited!

"I was looking for extra jobs in the summer to purchase Belle a ring, a close family friend came to me and gave me something I will surely never forget. He gave me a ring to propose to Belle with and this really was the assurance I needed from God that Belle was the one for me" -Thomas

"Thomas proposed to me on October 7th 2023. He took me on a date day to do all of my favorite things! We first started out going to my favorite coffee shop here on the island called Arvos coffee shop, where we got breakfast and coffee. We then went thrifting, and found some pretty cool things! Then Thomas took me to lunch at a very nice restaurant called Merrimans, and we ate the best food and talked about life. Then Thomas took me to Waialea beach where he set up a white little blanket sitting in the sand next to the water. He then told me to turn around and face the water while we took a picture of me, as soon as he told me I could turn around he was on one knee asking me to marry me!! I said yes obviously!" -Belle
