Our Wedding

Grounded in Faith, Grown in Love

Our journey began in 2021 at a quiet place called Catholic Junction—long before either of us imagined God was setting the stage for something beautiful. That year, Prisca’s parents asked a close friend and me to stay in their family house as caretakers. We agreed, thinking it was simply a temporary arrangement. Instead, it became the doorway to finding something divine. Not long after we settled in, Prisca’s elder sister moved into one of the apartments in the compound. Prisca would often stop by after work to see her, and during those visits, we would sit together with others in the compound, sharing simple conversations after long days. In those ordinary moments, something extraordinary was quietly forming.

I began to notice her wisdom, her calm spirit, and the gentle confidence she carried. She was genuine, thoughtful, and beautifully grounded. Over time, I felt a growing conviction that this wasn’t just admiration—it was something God Himself was shaping. After months of prayerful consideration, I reached out one night and asked if we could build a relationship with marriage in mind. Instead of rushing, Prisca suggested we first be friends for six months—to observe, understand, and grow. That period became a foundation of trust and shared values, and when it ended, she joyfully agreed to step into this relationship.

We later visited each other’s parents, honoring our families as we entered this new season together. Then, on November 9, 2025, I surprised her with a proposal—and she said yes. That day became a beautiful reminder that God’s timing is always perfect. Now, we look forward with grateful hearts to January 9, 2026—our wedding day. From a simple family house to a lifelong covenant, our story is a testament to God’s guidance, His timing, and His love that brings two paths together.

We are excited to begin this new chapter and honored to share our joy with you.

Our Story

Thomas, I rejoice with you as you prepare to step into this sacred covenant with Prisca. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:12, ‘Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.’ May God be the third strand that strengthens your union forever. Prisca, having lived with Thomas for many years, I can confidently testify that you are marrying a man of consistency, strength, and loyalty. May your home be filled with love, peace, laughter, and God’s abiding presence. Congratulations to you both.

"May your union reflect Christ’s love and God’s sacred design for marriage.
May your home shine with the grace of a Proverbs 31 woman and the strength of a Psalm 112 man.
May wisdom and virtue guide every step you take together.
And may your marriage become a blessing that inspires generations.”

Aww... look how time flies!

We've learned the value of a strong partnership on missions, and this is the most important team we will ever see! You two are stepping into the greatest mission field of all—your marriage.

May your bond be built on solid ground, strong in joy, love, and unwavering faith. As you walk this path together, remember that love is the foundation of your union. As Paul wrote: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud... It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:4, 7-8).*

I pray your life together will be a powerful testament and a beautiful path you walk hand-in-hand.

Congrats and much love from your teammate, Linda!

As you step into this new life together, I pray God’s hand stays steady over your home, and giving you the kind of peace that settles the heart. Marriage is such a gift, and it only grows richer when God’s at the center.
