Our Wedding

Our story began in true Denver fashion: two people swiping right on Bumble, each hoping to find something real. (And yes, this was back when Bumble required the woman to send the first message—so Katelyn had to make the first move!) After a few “reschedules” on Tommy’s part and one last warning from Katelyn that this was his final shot, we finally met for our first date on October 28, 2022. From the start, conversation came easily. We swapped stories about our families, childhood memories, and how life led us to that night—all while sharing a couple of drinks. The night ended with Tommy getting his first glimpse of Katelyn’s spontaneous, fun-loving side when she ordered tequila shots before we left—needless to say, that has not been the last one!

From the very beginning, we realized we were quite a paradox: so similar, yet so different. Our quirks complemented one another—from Tommy’s nerdy interests to Katelyn’s goofy habits—creating a match that was both surprising and effortless. Come Thanksgiving, Tommy already knew Katelyn was the one when she offered to watch Mia for an entire week while he went home to see his family. What a keeper!

Fast forward to October of 2023 where we faced our first big milestone. Both of our leases were ending, and although moving in together was a daunting step, we dove in headfirst. Let’s just say there was quite a learning curve—Tommy quickly realized there was absolutely no room for being messy in Katelyn’s house, and Katelyn learned more about Tommy’s “organizational skills” than she ever anticipated.﻿

As our relationship evolved, we shared laughter, growth, and the occasional bump in the road. But through these moments, it became clear to Tommy that he wanted to spend forever with Katelyn. On July 9th, 2024, in the Douro wine valley of Quinta de la Rosa in Portugal, Tommy got down on one knee—and we got to spend the next couple of weeks celebrating our engagement among the countryside and coasts of Porto and the Azores.

That happiness quickly sparked even bigger dreams, and later that year, in October, we bought our first house together—a place to start new memories with Mia and our sweet Claus. Sadly, shortly after settling in, we unexpectedly had to say goodbye to Claus — a difficult loss that reminded us how much our pets mean to us. In January, while making a donation in Claus' memory, Oliver (“Ollie”) crawled right into Katelyn’s lap—and in that moment, we knew we had to bring him home. Now, our home is filled with Ollie’s rambunctious energy, always keeping us (and Mia) on our toes.

We’re excited for all the chapters ahead—weekend getaways, more international travels (our latest adventure took us to Italy!), and the everyday moments that make our story special. Our story is still being written, and we look forward to a life filled with love, laughter, adventurous challenges, and endless fun. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you soon!

Our reserved room block at Home2 Suites is nearly full, and the hotel itself is close to selling out, so we are unable to add additional rooms. We encourage guests to book as soon as possible or reserve accommodations at Fairfield by Marriott. Thank you to everyone who reserved early. Summer is peak season in Livingston, and rooms fill quickly. If you still need accommodations, please see the Fairfield by Marriott option above or secure lodging at another nearby hotel or rental in the area. Complimentary shuttle service will be available to and from the wedding from this hotel.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Livingston Yellowstone

We have a reserved room block at the Fairfield by Marriott, conveniently located right next door to Home2 Suites, and it is nearly sold out. We encourage guests to book as soon as possible. As a reminder, this is their busiest time! If the booking link is no longer valid, please text Katelyn at (515) 473‑8549 and she will work on getting additional rooms added to our room block allotment. If you would like to extend your stay by adding pre- or post-event nights at the group rate, you must first reserve at least one of the main nights using the booking link. Once you’ve made your reservation, please contact Gina Cortez, Director of Sales, at Gina.Cortez@lodgingdynamics.com. Include your confirmation number and the dates you wish to add, and Gina will modify your reservation. Complimentary shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and our wedding venue, so you can focus on celebrating with us!

A luxury resort in Paradise Valley on the Yellowstone River with upscale rooms, gorgeous views, a spa, and exceptional dining. Please note that this location is about 15 minutes (10 miles) from Copper Rose Ranch, 25-minute drive from Livingston, and 50 minutes (36 miles) from Bozeman. Please keep in mind, there will be no wedding shuttle service from Sage Lodge.

Nearest Airport to Livingston

The closest airport to Livingston, Montana is Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN). Livingston is about a 30‑minute drive from the airport.

Getting from the airport to Livingston

Guests can rent a car directly at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport from the major rental companies located on site.​Guests may also take an Uber or similar rideshare from the airport to Livingston; the drive typically takes around 30–35 minutes, depending on traffic and weather.​For those who prefer a pre-arranged ride, <a href="https://www.oldfaithfulandfriends.com/livingston-transportation-livingston-taxi" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Old Faithful and Friends</a> offers private transportation from Bozeman Airport to Livingston; for your wedding, this service is approximately $125 each way and can accommodate up to 5 people in one vehicle. They also have larger service vehicles that may be available that could fit up to 11 people for $300.

Our wedding venue, Copper Rose Ranch, is about 20 minutes from Livingston Wedding Shuttles: On the wedding day, shuttles will be provided from Home2 Suites and Fairfield by Marriott in Livingston to the wedding venue. These shuttles will take guests to the venue before the celebration and will also return guests to the hotels in the evening, so no one needs to worry about driving. Venue Parking: There is guest parking on site at Copper Rose Ranch for anyone who prefers to drive to and from the venue.

One of our favorite spots for live music! This all-outdoor venue in Paradise Valley offers concerts under the stars, with incredible mountain views, tasty food and drinks, and a fun, laid-back vibe. Be sure to check their events calendar and purchase concert tickets in advance. We recommend taking the Party Bus Rentals shuttle for easy roundtrip transportation—tickets are required and available on Pine Creek’s website along with concert info.
