Are there any specific things I should know traveling to Cartagena, Colombia?
Cartagena is a tourist destination and is famous place for foreign weddings. It is foreign friendly and you will not have to worry about any language barriers when site seeing. We do want to make sure that all guest have their passports in advance and to get them updated as passports that expire within 6 months of the wedding/your departure are considered invalid and will need to be updated before you leave.
What is the weather like?
Warm tropical weather in the mid 70s to upper 80s.
How do I get service/travel overseas with a phone?
You are able to purchase either a physical SIM card on amazon for about $30-40, or for certain cell providers such as Version there are eSim cards which requires nothing other than you keeping your phone on. The dress code for our wedding is formal/cocktail attire. Keep in mind that we will have hot weather. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or sports coat.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will be indoors and the reception will be both indoors and outdoors.
What happens after the ceremony?
