About an hour from our venue in Pottsville, the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway, operated by Reading & Northern Railroad, offers a breathtaking trip into the Lehigh Gorge during the peak of Fall Foliage. NOTE: Fall is the busiest time of year for the town of Jim Thorpe. Plan to arrive no later than 8:30 AM the day of your trip in order to get tickets and parking as the lot fills up FAST. Tickets are only sold day-of during this peak season, so getting there early is crucial!
