Our story began on the dating app Hinge. We began to talk over the dating app winter of 2019 and had our first date over brunch (one of our favorite meals) and immediately clicked. We shared some great memories during our first few dates, and then … COVID hit. We started to get creative, doing date nights at each others homes, having themed dates such as Sunday morning Spongebob and brunch, themed dinners, battleship drinking games. Tom wooed Ali with his amazing cooking, and we’ve had great memories in the kitchen. Our passion for food was almost as strong as our passion for each other. We could not get enough of each other and with the ability to be comfortable around each other at home so quickly, we knew we were meant to be. We also knew we were meant to be once Tom started working at Ali’s favorite restaurant Mikimotos.

We both grew tremendously in our careers, constantly supporting each other and continuing to make great memories together. Then Tom proposed May 2022 at Central Park, after rowing us to a secluded corner on a canoe in the middle of the lake.

We cannot wait to see what our future holds, and we know that our future will be extremely bright with each other in it. We cannot wait to share and celebrate our love with our closest friends and family.
