Thomas and Ruth met through the USF Navigators in late 2021. They both made friendships that would last a lifetime, with each other and those around them.

After an eventful summer of getting to know each other, going on a couple of dates, a Lord of the Rings marathon, and gym dates, Thomas and Ruth became a couple!

In the midst of a hurricane evacuation, Thomas met Ruth's parents for the first time.

Ruth met Thomas's mom for the first time and they both learned how to make Challah bread together.

Thomas and Ruth celebrated their first Valentine's together. It was a day of laughs, Chick-fil-a, and getting kicked off of the parking garage.

Thomas and Ruth went on their last date, at Bok Towers Gardens, before Ruth left for Zambia for the next two months on a medical mission trip.

Thomas and Ruth celebrated their first year anniversary at a fancy steakhouse.

Thomas and Ruth flew up to Indiana, where Ruth finally got to meet all of Thomas's family, especially his baby nephew, James.

After weeks of planning, Thomas and Ruth drove over to Orlando, FL, where Thomas asked Ruth to marry him!! She said yes, of course, and the rest is history!
