Our Wedding

“Going on my first date with my future husband!”&nbsp;(a text from Mirna to a friend prior to her first date with Thomas) After a chance meeting online, Mirna and Thomas&nbsp;started their story together at Kabuki Japanese Restaurant on their first date. Over sushi, the two knew that they had found their person. What started as one date turned into after-work Dairy Queen dates, where Thomas would travel from his hometown 45 minutes away to spend even a small amount of time with Mirna after her shifts. At Bar Lucca in Conshohocken, they made things official, where Thomas asked Mirna to be his girlfriend. Of course she said yes! Little did she know, a bigger more important question would come later. The pair went on many dates and outings, meeting each others' families, cheering on their favorite sports teams, and on a train ride to Jim Thorpe, PA, they exchanged "I love you" for the first time. This would be the first of many times they would express their love. On their trip to San Antonio, Thomas popped the most important question while the pair traveled on the riverwalk near Selena's bridge. Thomas asked Mirna to spend their lives together, and after a resounding "yes!" the ring slid onto her finger like it was made for her. Mirna and Thomas are very much in love, and ecstatic to spend the rest of their lives together. This story is only the beginning, and they look forward to writing their new chapters together.
