The Bible verse Ruth 1:16-17 describes our love.

Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God, and Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried.”

Thomas grew up in Rockwall Texas and moved to Van in 2016 for the health of his grandma. I met Thomas the beginning of his senior year and my junior year and I remember thinking this kid probably thinks Van is “too” country for him. However within his first week he had made friends. I never thought anything of us. In August of 2016 we had a class together and he set across the room and everyday he would winked at me and that’s all it took. We hung out for about a month and before I knew it I was sitting on Tanner Welborn front porch when he asked me to be his girlfriend on November 12, 2016. It’s been us ever since. We have had many ups and down but through it all we always worked through it. Fast forward through college we stayed together and I always told him I wanted to get engaged after I graduated. I graduated college on December 9th 2023 and he proposed on December 12th of 2023. This year in November we will be together for 9 years. Which is crazy.
