There is a dress code - Formal Attire. A formal wedding might include a jacket and tie or a traditional suit. An elegant dress or a nice pantsuit would also be appropriate.

If weather permits, the wedding ceremony will take place outdoor at Blue Valley Vineyard and Winery. The ceremony will be moved indoor if needed as an alternative. The wedding reception will be indoor at Blue Valley Vineyard and Winery.

The free hotel shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes +1 703-413-1300 Hours: DCA & Metro: 5AM - 11PM daily. You can take the Metro ($2.25 per person, 1 stop on Yellow Line), but it will be a .08 mile walk from the Crystal City station).

Yes, transportation will be provided between Renaissance Hotel in Pentagon City and the vineyard. Please look under Travel section for more details.

Cocktail hour will follow immediately after the ceremony. Guests can enjoy the beautiful vista at the vineyard while finger foods and beverages are served for about 45 minutes prior to dinner.

There are parking spaces onsite. We will also provide a bus from Pentagon City to the vineyard and back. Please look under Travel for more details.

If you are traveling from out of town, then yes, of course. If not, we encourage you to find childcare for the evening. We've spent the last year designing an experience for adults, and encourage you to make arrangements for childcare to enjoy the evening!
