Tia and Alexis crossed paths working at Lexus of Rockville in June 2015. Tia worked in the BDC working the phones and Alexis was a Mechanic. Tia would always go out with a group of friends from Lexus of Rockville and one day asked if Alexis was coming to Tommy Joes tonight? Alexis said “maybe, let me get your number In case I come through.” So we exchanged numbers and Alexis met us up that night with his cousins.

Alexis and Tia went on their first date December 12, 2015. Our first date we went to Vini Culture Wine Bar and Cafe talked and laughed for hours.After we went to Olive Garden for a quick bite to eat. The lady asked if we were celebrating anything and we both said “our first date we guess?!”
After our first date we were inseparable.

We officially started dating January 17, 2016!
Where he asked: Wisp Ski Resort, We went snow tubing! Such a fun day, lots of snow!

In June 2016, We went on our first trip together to Miami Florida! We stayed at the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel on Collins Ave.

In November 2016, we went on our second trip together we went to Las Vegas!

Alexis Suprised Tia in March 2017 with her first. This was our first cruise together. We went to Orlando, Nassau, Freeport.

Fun Fact: Since then we have been on 8 cruises.

October 2018, We got our first place together. We moved to Germantown!

November 2018, after months and months of searching and giving up on looking, Tia came across and facebook post with these little frenchies. The breeder had 2 girls and 3 boys. The one that caught her eye had a royal blue collar. She reached out to the breeder and asked if he was still available and he was! We filled out the questionaire and within a day we found out that little guy was ours. We finally found our little Watson! We brought little man home December 24, 2018. Our Christmas Miracle. Five years later and he is still a little Terror.

Alexis and Tia always knew we wanted to move to Frederick or Urbana. On November 6, 2020, We decided to go look at new homes. We went into it not thinking anything of it. Fell in love with the layout and that we could get an end unit. She asked if we wanted to put in a contract. Alexis looked at Tia and was like what do you think? Tia of course said " Why not, Lets just see what happens!" We had no idea going in to look at the homes that day we were going to leave that day with a contract on our new home!

January 2021, They finally broke ground on our new home! We would go every Sunday just to see all the progress they have made during the week. It was fun going every sunday just to see what was done!

June 8, 2021 - After a long 6 months, We officially became homeowners to our brand new home! The Gremlin finally had his own backyard.

FINALLY!!!!

After years of sending Alexis rings he finally popped the question. Alexis popped the question the morning of our 7 year anniversary 01.17.23. Tia thought he was going to propose either in the evening or on our Anniversary Cruise a week later. Alexis woke up super early on the 17th, Went down starts set up the sign, flower petal, and little candles. When he came up to get me up i thought he made me a nice morning breakfast! Definietly was not expecting him to propose at 5am in the morning! I was shocked! Of course, I said YES!
