Our Wedding

Our love story began in the most unexpected place- Benefis Intensive Care Unit in Great Falls, Montana. Our relationship follows the typical romantic movie timeline: we met as coworkers, we became friends, we fell in love. Starting out, we bonded over our shared calling for medicine and our mutual love for adventure. Tia craved spontaneity, passion and experiences, while Ryan was searching for something real and dependable- a love that felt like home. Over time those differences became our balance- and what began as friendship grew into a steady, certain, once-in-a-lifetime kind of love. Adventure has always been at the heart of who we are. Whether it’s spontaneous plane rides, overnight backpacking treks, week long “glamping” trips, or even late night ice cream runs, we’ve never let a moment pass without making a memory. But, the greatest adventure has been building a life with our two boys, Witten (6) and Lincoln (4). From the beginning, Tia and the boys were a package deal. And with strength and unwavering love, Ryan stepped into that picture, not just as a partner, but as a father- protective, supportive and endlessly devoted. Together, we became a family, and with that, our love story truly felt complete. After two and a half years of growing, building, and becoming a family- Ryan brought us full circle. At the end of the boat dock at Newlan Creek Reservoir, Ryan asked Tia to answer a “very important question”. No grand gestures, no rehearsed speeches- just a moment of pure love, simple and sincere. And it was perfectly us. We are so grateful for every step that brought us here- for the long ICU shifts that brought us together, the many adventures that connected us, the play time with the boys that made us laugh, and the deep, steady love that holds us. We cannot wait to celebrate our next chapter with you, surrounded by the family and friends who have supported and loved us through it all!

The oldest child of the couple— Full of memories, random facts and big ideas.  He is prideful, strong and wise beyond his years. This kid will sweep you off your feet with his signature left cheek dimple. You’ll likely find him dancing with his momma or telling stories of his fishing adventures. 

Witten Jensen

The youngest child of the couple— Full of mischief and charm, with a side eye that says it all. His laugh is contagious, and his big, toothy grin is impossible to resist. You’ll most likely find him shaking his booty on the dance floor or sneaking something sweet from the dessert table.

Lincoln Jensen

Tia’s only neice—Lexi may be almost two, but she’s already got the sass of a teen. Loud, proud, and undeniably cute, she’s the only little girl of the family—and she knows how to work it. You’ll probably spot her in the middle of the action, surrounded by little boys and stealing the spotlight without even trying.

Tia’s youngest nephew— Paxton is Paxton. Once you meet him, you instantly understand what that means. Stubborn, confident, and with a heart of gold, he’s one of a kind. You’ll most likely find him doing ninja kicks in the air or on a mission to find snacks.

Tia’s oldest nephew— Maverick, is the quiet kid of the bunch, but don’t let that fool you. He’s got impeccable manners at the dinner table, but the moment the music hits, he’s busting out break dance moves like a pro. And seriously, one look at his freckled little nose, and you will fall instantly in love. You will find him patrolling the other kids and making sure everyone is following the rules. 

Maverick Meierhoff

Ryan’s best friend— Kyle has been by Ryan’s side through all the highs, lows, and everything in between. From backyard adventures to life’s biggest milestones, Kyle has been a constant source of loyalty, laughter, and solid advice. Their bond runs deep, built on years of memories and unshakable trust. Now that Kyle’s moved back, the adventures are far from over and Ryan couldn’t imagine anyone else standing beside him on this day.

Kyle Hayter

Tia’s younger sister—Tia's biggest cheerleader and the one who knows her better than anyone. Her loyalty runs deep, always keeping Tia grounded and level headed through every high and low. She's the quiet strength behind Tia's every step forward, the one who believes in her even when she forgets to believe in herself. She's not just her sister, but her best friend and the one Tia couldn’t imagine this special day without her by her side. 

Natasha Meierhoff

Ryan’s friend—Garrett is always ready with a helping hand, equal parts fun and dependable. He’s the kind of friend who shows up when it counts, always willing to pitch in and work hard without ever losing his sense of humor. From fixing fences to spending time in the mountains, some of their best memories have come from just putting in the work and enjoying the outdoors together. Ryan is truly grateful for his loyalty, steady support, and the energy he brings to this day.

Garrett Fritz

Ryan’s younger sister—Muffy is a true friend and an incredible support. She brings kindness and warmth to everyone around her and is always ready to lend a helping hand. She’s truly living up to her title of ‘Aunt’—sharing a special bond with the boys, whose faces light up the moment she walks into the room. We’re beyond lucky to have her cheering on both the bride and groom today, and even more grateful for the joy she brings into our lives.

Tia’s Father and Stepmom—They have always been a steady source of support, guidance, and love. True champions for both Tia and Ryan, they’ve been there every step of the way during this journey- right down to secretly capturing the surprise proposal with a camera in hand! They are always bringing fun and memorable moments to every gathering, making this journey even more special. Their love and involvement have meant the world, and we’re grateful to have them here celebrating this day with us.

Tia’s Mother and Stepdad—Not once has Tia ever had to doubt the love and support of this incredible couple. Mark and Zoe have been there through every high and low, every emotion, and every milestone — not only for Tia, but for Ryan and the boys as well. Their presence has been a constant source of strength, warmth, and encouragement. Their unwavering support has meant the world to Tia as she’s grown, healed, and found the happiness and love she has always searched for. We couldn’t feel more blessed to have you by our sides through this life.

Ryan’s Mother and Father— From the very beginning, Ryan has been surrounded by the guidance, strength, and strong morals instilled by his parents. Their consistent love and deeply rooted values have shaped the man he is today — kind, grounded, and loyal. Their support has extended beyond Ryan, embracing Tia and the boys with open hearts and open arms. On this special day, we celebrate not only the love between two people but also the families who made it possible. We are truly thankful for you.
