It all started on the night of November 15, 2015, when we met at Otterbein University when Tia was attending a sorority-fraternity mixer at Abhishek's “fraternity” house. We hit it off that night with an amazing selfie and had our first date soon after, getting ice cream together. We spent hours enjoying each others company on that date and lost track of the time, which has since become a staple in our relationship. And as they say, “the rest is history.” Below are some of our favorite memories and milestones we've captured over the years.

The following summer we finally made it official when Abhishek visited Tia in Wadsworth and met her family for the first time. Over the next year, Tia finished her degree and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, while Abhishek also started his career in real estate. We supported each other as we both began our professional journeys.

Fast forward to the summer of 2017, and we moved into our apartment in Columbus' Italian Village. Joining us as we started our lives together, was Mojo, Tia's cat from childhood, who moved in with us and became Abhishek’s first ever pet. In 2018, as we had settled into our life together, our family grew again with the addition of our second cat, Ghost.

We quickly realized our family had outgrown our one bedroom apartment, so we bought our first home in 2020 and moved to the German Village Brewery District. With more space for our family, we grew once again, with the adoption of our dog Willow.

On October 16, 2022, Abhishek surprised Tia with a proposal while on a date at one of our favorite places, the Franklin Park Conservatory.

Finally, we were engaged!!!

Up to this point we had chosen all of the members we had in our family, but in July 2023 we got a surprise and Archie, our third cat, added himself to our home.

Through these years while making the most of our time with each other, we have become intertwined in each other's families and lives. We have celebrated anniversaries, holidays, and many milestones. We've formed our own traditions and made our own home and family. We have traveled the world, experienced different cultures, foods, and experiences. Now in 2024 we look forward to making our family official with our wedding at one of our favorite places, while celebrating with all of our special and loved people.
