We are so excited to get married in front of our family and closest friends. Originally we were going to have a large wedding but decided what means most to us is having fun with the people who are dearest to our hearts. Please treat this just as much of a vacation for you as it is for us. We will be arriving on Tuesday the 1st and leaving on Monday the 7th. Our plan is to stay at the Royal Hotel the entire time to make sure everything runs smoothly and consume our weight in margaritas and tacos. I know other people are planning to check out other cities in Mexico before or after the wedding. Our one request is that you stay at the Royal Hotel on Friday and Saturday for our rehearsal lunch and wedding. They are strict when it comes to letting non-guests onto the property and we would rather not have that be a problem. Playa Del Carmen and the surrounding area is beautiful and filled with history. Chichen Itza (one of the new 7 wonders of the world) is just a couple of hours away. And there are endless fun things to do from zip lining in the canapé to swimming or diving in the crystal clear waters of the cenotes. The area is also world renowned for diving, fishing, and kite surfing and of course has some of the worlds best white sand beaches. The hotel is located between the beach and 5th street, which is where all the restaurants, shops, and nightclubs are. Being at an all inclusive is great but for those craving an adventure there is a weeks worth of sites and activities to experience. Regarding your plus 1: We ask that you be considerate of this. We obviously don't want anyone traveling alone because this is your vacation too but please if you do bring someone let us know as soon as possible. We need an exact count for our wedding. In the event that you are single we are sure you will find a holiday romance.If you have questions about anything please feel free to contact us. We are having our wedding at the Royal Hotel Playa Del Carmen. It is a beautiful all inclusive hotel with master suites that fit 1-4 people. This is an adult only hotel and we ask that all guests book a room here May 4th-6th. Guests staying at another hotare not allowed on the property and therefore would not be able to attend our wedding. We are excited to spend a couple of days with our family and closest friends all together! FYI: if you book your flights and hotel as a package through the website you will get a great deal!

The easiest way to get to Playa Del Carmen is via the Cancun International Airport. There are nonstop flights from almost every major city in the U.S. You will need a passport to travel into Mexico. 

Playa Del Carmen is about a 50 minute car ride from the airport. If flying with a group or solo I would suggest booking transportation beforehand. It's easier and cheaper. The hotel can help you book transportation as well.
