Ever since I began contemplating marrying Jordan, I always knew I wanted to get engaged and/or married on September 21.

I'm sure you've heard the Earth, Wind and Fire song -

"Do you remember, the 21st night of September?

Love was changing the minds of pretenders,

While chasing the clouds away."

This song was playing in the restaurant where we had our first date, and we had an instant connection to it.

Well, Jordan made my dream come true by popping the big question on September 21, 2019. And how blessed are we to say "I do" 5 years later on the same date??

Back in 2019 when we first got engaged, no one could have predicted the crazy year that was to follow. The pandemic really threw a wrench in everyone's 2020 schedule, including the wedding planning that had already began to take shape. Life went on, and we grew content and continued to bask in our engagement. We have since remained happy and didn't feel too much pressure for a wedding.

Fast forward to now, 2024 is here and what other way to seal the deal than with a Vegas "elopement"? We use the term "elopement" loosely since we aren't running off and doing this solo. We knew that we couldn't make this huge commitment in our lives without our closest friends and family. We can't wait to share this adventure with you all that can make it, and tell the stories of Sin City to those that can't.

We know that Las Vegas isn't accessible to everyone, and we aren't able to include everyone we would have if we had a traditional wedding guest list. We appreciate your understanding and hope that you will celebrate with us in spirit from afar. Stay tuned for info on a less formal get together to celebrate our union.
