Our Wedding

On May 25th, 2018, we both graduated from high school—a day full of excitement, celebration, and hope for the future. That evening, we ended up at the same graduation party, not knowing our lives were about to change forever. Though we had unknowingly crossed paths before—Tiera as the cheer captain and Edward as the basketball player—it wasn’t until that night, surrounded by music, games, and laughter, that we truly connected. Edward serenaded Tiera in front of everyone, and something just clicked. Before the night ended, Edward made sure to get Tiera’s contact information from the mutual friend—just in case fate needed a little push. Two days later, Tiera hosted a small gathering with one quiet hope in mind: to see Edward again. The plan worked—they reconnected that night, and by the next day, Edward reached out. By day three, he had asked Tiera on their first date—and to be his girlfriend. From that moment on, our story began. Over the years, we supported each other through long-distance college life, personal growth, and Edward’s time away at Army Basic Training. Despite the challenges, our bond only grew stronger, grounded in love, loyalty, and laughter. As our relationship deepened, our little family expanded with two beloved pups: Athena, our energetic and affectionate girl who keeps us on our toes, and Brownie, our fearless and energetic protective boy who watches over everyone with his sweet spirit. They’ve brought endless joy, muddy paw prints, and unconditional love into our lives. After six years of memories, growth, and love, Edward planned the perfect moment. On the anniversary of the night we met, surrounded by Tiera’s closest family and the soulful air of New Orleans, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. Now, we’re ready to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the most to us. We can’t wait to share our special day with you!

Kat has truly become like my other half —in every way that matters. She’s been by my side through everything: cheering us on, supporting me endlessly, and patiently listening to me talk non-stop about how much I love Edward. Now that I’m marrying into the family, she’ll officially be my cousin too. Her love, loyalty, and unshakable support have meant the world to me. I’m so grateful to have her as my Maid of Honor.

From the very beginning of my journey with Tiera, he’s been there cheering us on, supporting us through every high and low, and reminding us what love and family truly mean. I couldn’t imagine taking this next step without my brother by my side.
