There will not be a shuttle for the wedding ceremony at the Sacred Heart church. For the ceremony, we suggest that guests can drive to the church and check in to their hotel following the ceremony. The Cocktail Attire dress code is not needed for the church ceremony. Transportation to Reception at Bear Mountain Inn -&nbsp;The large bus will be leaving the hotels at the following times: - 5:15PM - Holiday Inn - 5:35PM - Overlook Lodge- 5:45PM - Stone Cottages Additionally, a small 8-person shuttle operated by Bear Mountain will be available to pick up guests from the Overlook Lodge and Stone Cottages. Please look out for a white shuttle bus, which will begin pick-ups at Overlook Lodge at 5:15PM and return for a second pick up around 5:40PM. Transportation from the Reception and 1915 Bar to the hotels -&nbsp; The large bus will leave the Bear Mountain Inn and make stops at the Stone Cottages, the Overlook Lodge, and the Holiday Inn at the following times: 11:40PM, 12:30AM and 1:40AM.&nbsp; The 1915 Bar at the Bear Mountain Inn will remain open late for those who want to continue the celebration after the reception ends.&nbsp; Small Shuttle (Overlook Lodge and Stone Cottages only): The smaller 8-person shuttle will run between the Bear Mountain Inn, the Stone Cottages, and the Overlook Lodge.Trips will begin at 11:30 PM and continue until 12:30 AM.

We’ve reserved a block of rooms at The Overlook Lodge at Bear Mountain for our guests. To book a room, please call the front desk and mention you’re booking under the Koontz/O'Driscoll Wedding Block for July 11, 2025. Please note that the room block will be ending on May 27th and the available rooms will be released to the public for booking. We encourage you to book your room now. The Overlook Lodge is a ten-minute drive to the Sacred Heart Church. Please note that the Overlook Lodge is a separate building from the venue where the wedding will take place. There will be shuttles available to the reception venue.

We hope that you explore the beautiful park before or after the wedding festivities! There is amazing hiking, row boating, The 1915 Restaurant and a zoo. If weather permits, we plan to hang out at the picnic tables located next to Hessian lake (located behind Bear Mountain Inn) on the day after our wedding. We will aim to be there around noon. Please come join us if you are sticking around the area the next day!
