We met through a mutual friend, Eddie. The first night we met was not your normal Hi, Nice to meet you night. Jose's first line to Tiffani was that "You're either going to love me or hate me" and Tiffani responded by rolling her eyes and saying "Well I already don't like you." We attended Garlic Fest in Delray Beach, FL (February 8, 2013) because there was a band that Tiffani liked and Jose was invited to come hang out through Eddie. Jose was a nice guy buying Tiffani drinks and items from the vendors, but Tiffani had her guard up. After Garlic Fest they all went out for drinks at a few other Bars and Restaurants on the Ave before heading home.

The next day, Jose asked for Tiffani's number and Tiffani said NO! Jose was shocked that a girl actually said NO to him. Jose was persistent and eventually Tiffani gave in after a couple weeks. With Tiffani living in Port St Lucie and Jose in Boca Raton, they were only able to spend weekends together. A connection developed very quickly and Jose decided to move to Port St Lucie and live with Tiffani.

Every year Tiffani and Jose vacation in Sanibel, FL with friends and family. On June 15, 2016 after 3 years together, Jose decided to ask Tiffani to marry him. Like every year, they went out for a walk on the beach at night, so nothing out of the norm to throw Tiffani off. They walked towards the lighthouse and as they turned around to head back to the resort, Jose got down on one knee and told Tiffani that he wants a family with her and wants to spend his life with her and asked her to marry him. Tiffani laughed and cried then laughed some more as she normally does when she gets nervous, and Jose had to remind her that she had to give him an answer and of course Tiffani said YES!

After a year and a half of planning, Tiffani and Jose will marry on October 28, 2017!
