They met in January 2000 at a convention that their mutual hometown agency sent them to. Erik went a few years prior and moved from Columbia Heights MN to sunny Los Angeles! So every year Erik would go to the convention to meet the fresh meat from his previous agency! In January of 2000 Tiffany went to IMTA(the same convention)! They met and became immediate friends! Tiffany returned to Minnesota to save for the big move. They kept in contact for 6 months until she made her move to Los Angeles June 1st 2000.

Tiffany called Erik as she was unpacking to let him know she had arrived. He was her first visitor at her new apartment in Studio City, CA! Us Minnesotans need to stick together! For the next 15 years their friendship flourished! They had monthly coffee dates, Wine and cheese nights, Lunches and dinners together. A totally normal friendship for a guy and a girl...nope;) In 2003 they both began working together at Lucky Strike. She a cocktail waitress and he a shoe desk slinger! He eventually worked his way up to being her boss.

Then about 4-5 years ago his feelings for his longtime friend started to change! He told her on a "few" occasions. It took her a bit longer...but it turns out he was way smarter then her about this! So now down to the fun stuff! It was Christmas Eve 2014. It was the first time in years that they were both home for the holidays at the same time! The family portion of the evening came to an end. So he decided to Uber to her parents house to hangout for a few hours. This became one of those times that he let her know that he loved her. Something had changed that made her consider it. He was calling his Uber to head back to his parents home. They were standing in the living room waiting for his car to arrive...That's when in his words he attacked her face! And man was he good at the smooching! They spent a few more days together and decided to have a talk when they returned to Los Angeles.

January 1st 2015 they met for dinner to discuss their situation. They decided to take it slow and meet for dinner once a week to see if they had the chemistry that he already knew they had. They barely spent a day apart since that day! For a few weeks they had to keep it a secret, due to the fact that he is her boss! That was pretty fun! There were a few people that were privy to their blossoming relationship! You know who you are! They called them "Joey 1 and Joey 2"! They knew they had to tell the owner of the company before it came out! So Erik scheduled a meeting where they found out they were over the moon for us!

For the next year they had so many awesome adventures! It flew by but before they knew it the holiday season was upon us again! About a week before heading back to Minnesota Tiffany became suspicious of a possible diamond ring! He heard the news and told her that it would probably be a few more months before he could afford it. She was bummed but what are you going to do. Then on Christmas Eve 2015 they were getting last minute shopping done. Then headed back to her parents house to get ready for festivities! She was upstairs wrapping presents. He was downstairs and texted her to come down to help him. She came down and he walked into the room with YES A RING IN HIS HAND! Told her she is his best friend in the world and would she marry him!

So obviously we all know what the answer was!
