Tiffany and Luke’s love story begins, as many great ones do, with a bit of confusion and a whole lot of laughter. When asked how they met, Luke proudly declares, “She was my boss.” While technically true (for a brief time), their story actually starts earlier, at their favorite bar, The Wild Rover, where fate, and questionable karaoke choices brought them together.What followed was years of working side by side, building a strong professional relationship, and probably trying not to strangle each other over emails. When Luke set off for a new job in 2022, he invited Tiffany and their coworkers out for a celebratory send-off. The night included dinner and some wildly uncoordinated dance moves at Blu Aqua, and, unbeknownst to them, the start of something more than friendship.Soon, they were inseparable, spending Sundays watching football, taking the boat out on Winni, and even braving NYC for opera, where Luke introduced Tiffany to Puccini. This was true love, because only love explains voluntarily sitting through an opera when you’re more of a “Broadway and brunch” kind of gal.Then came ski weekends. Now, Tiffany has made it down a mountain precisely three times without falling, but she has never turned down a weekend away following Luke to his favorite slopes. More importantly, she has mastered the art of trying every Bloody Mary in sight, complete with an elaborate rating system that could rival Michelin. Fast forward to December 10, 2023, at Stowe Mountain. Tiffany, always one for directness, joked, “So, when are we going to be Facebook official?” With zero hesitation, Luke pulled out his phone and made it happen. He locked it in, not just online, but in real life.The next year was full of travel, dreaming about the future, and deep conversations about faith and values. Tiffany had her heart set on a big proposal moment, preferably on New Year’s Eve. But midnight struck, and Luke was still standing on two feet. No proposal. Tiffany, momentarily alarmed, realized she was in love with a man committed to keeping her on her toes.Then, on February 8, 2025, Luke pulled off the ultimate surprise. He skipped skiing on a flawless bluebird day, for pancakes. A noble sacrifice indeed, since Tiffany insisted on visiting Polly’s Pancake Parlor.With her happily oblivious, Luke took her on a scenic drive through the Kancamagus Highway, a place they had first visited when their love began to grow. At the second lookout spot (because the first one didn’t feel quite right), Luke got down on one knee and proposed. Tiffany, in utter joy, said yes, despite her nails not being done, the one thing she had repeatedly insisted upon.And then, because their story would not be complete without a dash of randomness, a nearby photographer captured the moment, promising to send them the photos. Naturally, due to the White Mountain’s questionable cell reception, the call never went through, and those engagement pictures were lost to time.But that hardly mattered. Because now, Tiffany and Luke have a lifetime of photos to capture a love that is joyous, adventurous, and filled with laughter. And just as they promised, their journey will always be blessed—with faith, fun, and a whole lot of good food.
