Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Can I bring a date?
In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your wedding invitation.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or sports coat. No jeans please!
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
We will be hosting the ceremony outside with the reception taking place indoors. Please prepare and dress for September wedding conditions.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?
Transportation will be provided to and from the Irish Cottage, Stoney Creek Inn and Best Western. Due to Uber and Lyft being unreliable sources of transportation in Galena, we strongly suggest staying at one of the preferred hotels and utilizing the transportation service provided. We appreciate our guests being safe as we celebrate!

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?
The parking lot at Ashton Hill can accommodate 90 cars. A shuttle service will be provided to and from select hotels, which we greatly encourage our guests to utilize due to scarce Uber access in the area!
CAN I TAKE PICTURES OF THE WEDDING AND POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Yes! We would love to see any photos that are taken from the night. We do kindly ask that during the ceremony that we unplug so we can all take in the moment. But, besides that please take as many photos as you would like!
