Our Story

If you didn't know already, Jaden and Tiffany are high school sweethearts.

It was the first day (!) of Grade 9 that these two met. An open seat was left at Tiffany's group table, and Jaden, having seen the availability, requested to join the group. The rest of that year would be followed by Tiffany and Jaden getting to know eachother through school and eventually bonding over shared faith and heading to weekly-youth group outings.

As high school went on, the two drifted apart, only to be re-united in Junior Year. This is when things really started picking up. Although they had yet to make it official.... Jaden and Tiffany's first date was technically a study outing at Tim Hortons. The outings grew to late-night drives and french-fry runs, more youth group retreats, Kawartha Ice cream runs, trips to the Pitchford's cottage (and Tiffany's inaugural fishing endevour), late-night face-time calls, ice-skating, a trip to see Avengers Endgame at the IMAX in Vaughan (thanks Drew), bicycle rides and trail-hiking, and even Jaden continuously retriving coffee for Tiffany during his spare period. Both felt extremely comfortable around the other, and something was blossoming very quickly.

By early 2020 (Senior Year), Tiffany and Jaden made it official! Of course.... we all know what happened in 2020. Their love prevailed over tireless sanctions of keeping 6ft apart. Thank goodness for FaceTime and the great outdoors. By that Fall, Jaden sadly was moved away, and since then, the couple has endured living long-distance from eachother.

Needless to say, they have looked forward to this wedding day for years. They both love spending time at the Cottage and the Devries' trailer, watching movies, going for hikes, making food, going thrifting, fishing, spending time with family, and talking about anything and everything.

Although it may be cheesy, they both feel this is true: this lifetime does not feel like enough time to spend with eachother.

So to our wedding guests: We are so grateful you are able to join us on our special day. More importantly, we urge you to reflect on the time you spend with loved ones and how much they mean to you. Life is short. We hope you enjoy our ceremony and walk away feeling blessed -- and refreshed!
