I would have never expected to meet the love of my life walking down Flagler Avenue during the Light Up Flagler event, nor would I think the first question out of her mouth would be, “Would you like some fish?”

Obviously she fell head over heels in love with me that day… It only took her a month or so to figure that out. We became inseparable not only because we were quarantined during covid but because our connection was so strong and we respected and genuinely considered each other.

Our laughter and our shared interests made my life more beautiful and our differences made it easy for us to learn from and about one another. Lovers, that is who we are, ask anyone, I could have never imagined that I would find the most perfect person to share my life with. We dance in the kitchen, take spontaneous road trips, we cry at movies (Ok, I cry at movies) we have the best life ever!

I love our family. Hers and mine and the fact that it will be one family is so perfect and unimaginable. We have become best friends as well as lovers in love and lust. I can’t wait to spend every day with her beautiful smiling face.
