Long story short:

On August 27th of 2021, we met each other for the first time. We both ended up stuck in the house of a mutual friend as Hurricane Ida rolled through our city (shoutout to our Best Man, Brandon Leon). We had no electricity, air conditioning, internet, or cell service for a few days. Along with a few of our friends, we made the best out of a bad situation and actually had a lot of fun. After the hurricane passed, we both evacuated to different states but stayed in contact constantly texting and calling. When we both returned to New Orleans, we started going on dates and the rest is history. It is funny what started out as such an unfortunate circumstance has grown into our beautiful little family today
