A life long Midwestern girl meets a Jersey boy and falls in love.

While being born in Illinois, Chris and his family moved to New Jersey when he was 8 years old. He spent his formidable years on the East Coast. When his parents retired and moved back to Chicagoland, Chris's life took a turn in a different direction as well and decided to move back home.

I have spent my whole life in the northwest suburbs of Chicago surrounded by my family and life long friends.

As the wrath of 2020 calmed down and things got back to normal, I started to online date again. By chance I tried Facebook dating in 2023, which I didn't think would lead anywhere. I then came across Chris on the same website. His kind heart, honesty, and caring nature drew me to him. It didn't take us long to fall in love with each other.

Chris's love of travel has brought me to more places than I have ever been to in my life. He took me to California for a family wedding where I was able to see an ocean for the very first time. We have also traveled to New York to see Niagara Falls. We discovered a love of Louisville and bourbon together, as well as great wine in our two wine club memberships. I often say Chris was the best thing I ever found online.

We have grown together in love and laughter over the last 3 years and have become each others safe space. We bring out the best in each other and I am so very lucky that he chose me to spend his life with. Chris's mom always says that he had to come home to find the person he was meant to be with and I guess she was right (as mothers often are).

I have never been so happy and I have Chris to thank for that .
