I have found the one whom my soul loves.

They say you shouldn't expect your future spouse to just show up on your front door step, but this case proves to be an exception. Tiffany had been searching for a home church which led her to Founders Baptist Church in Spring, TX in August 2021. As she was seeking ways to become involved and get more connected with church members, an elder introduced her to John. John was co-leading the College and Career group and had provided Tiffany information about the group.

After some time had passed, John and Tiffany had exchanged personal contact information and began hanging out in group settings. John had later asked Tiffany on their official, first date in December to share their love for art at the Van Gogh Exhibit and be foodies at the Taste of Texas.

John and Tiffany spent time sharing their testimonies and life experiences, discussing theology and sermons, and expressing their love for the Lord. John and Tiffany enjoyed hiking, exploring the outdoors, admiring local art, eating all the foods, drinking Topo Chico, and watching "This is Us".

John asked Tiffany's parents for permission to marry her on April 1, 2022. He orchestrated a surprise proposal with some family members at The Gardens at Texas A&M University on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022.

Being called to ministry years ago, John moved from his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona to pursue seminary at The Expositors Seminary in Spring, TX. Founders is the Houston-based campus for the seminary. John graduated with his Masters of Divinity on May 15, 2022. Founders has been John's "home" for the past several years while becoming a Texas resident. Tiffany had indeed walked to the front door step of Founders, John's "home", and the Lord took care of the rest.
